What Every Signer Must Know

To ensure a smooth appointment, please review the following requirements before booking.

Every Signer Must
  • Be physically present at the time of notarization
  • Present acceptable government-issued identification as required by California law
  • Have all documents fully completed before the appointment, except where signatures must occur in front of the notary
  • Be willing to sign voluntarily

Acceptable identification must comply with California law. If you are unsure whether your identification qualifies, please contact us before scheduling your appointment.

Documents should be completed before the appointment unless a blank field must legally remain unsigned until the notarization.

  • Provide legal advice of any kind
  • Recommend, prepare, or draft documents
  • Select notarial certificates on behalf of a customer
  • Advise on the legal effect of any document
  • Guarantee that a document will be accepted by any agency or institution
Transparent Pricing

Fees & Travel

California law establishes the maximum fee a notary public may charge for each notarized signature. Travel fees are separate from the statutory notarial fee and are disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.

All fees are confirmed prior to finalizing your appointment. We do not charge hidden fees. Travel fees are not estimated in advance and vary depending on distance, appointment time, and location.
